How I Spent the Final Night of Songkran 2024
Honestly, I cannot remember every detail. There was a lot of drinking involved. I enjoyed spending the evening with my friends.

I have lived in Thailand or nearly eight years, so I have also experienced as many Songkran festivals. Here is a brief description of my experience this year.
SONGKRAN
Songkran is the most famous holiday in Thailand. It is a water festival rooted in Buddhist tradition and a passage into the Thai new year covering three days from 13-15 of April. Songkran is known for a long party with water fights everywhere and all ages are involved.
My 2024 Songkran experience
As a former natural resources environmental lawyer, I have difficulty being a part of the colossal waste of water resources. However, I did go out the last night of Songkran. I waterproofed my GoPro 12 and took some video and pictures. I will post some of those here instead of trying to explain. I will reserve a more detailed experience for another time.
